Individual Supervision

Supervision is an important and necessary part of working in the helping filed. It is vital that when you feel stuck or challenged, you have the right mentorship and guidance in place. As an experienced counsellor, it is very likely I have found myself in similar situations and quandaries as you have, and I will gladly share my expertise with you. I am here to make sure you are secure in your skills, using BACP’s ethical guidelines at the core of my practice, and keeping your individual needs in mind.

Supporting you throughout your career

I enjoy coaching supervisees, whether new to the profession, or seasoned practitioners. I provide a safe space to work through challenges and share the joys of this work in an atmosphere of positivity and confidence-building.

During my 10 years as a counsellor in private practice, I have worked with a variety of clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, low-self-esteem, grief and loss, and chronic pain. I enjoy helping supervisees as much as I enjoy helping clients. My approach is integrative, including person-centered, CBT, solution-focused, psychodynamic, and art therapy.

I provide sessions both online and in-person. Individual supervision spaces
are limited. Contact me at info@jennybrowntherapy.com

Group Supervision

Working in private practice can sometimes feel like an isolating experience, which is why meeting with a core group of therapists in group supervision can provide a great feeling of a community. This format is limited to a small number of practitioners, which allows more time per person to confidentially discuss case files, share knowledge, and discuss treatment options with fellow group members.

Learn and give feedback in an environment of supportive colleagues.

Group work also allows for themed meetings, where we discuss important topics such as boundaries, transference, resistance, grief and loss, case studies, and a variety of other subjects.

Added bonus: Home-baked treats provided by your supervisor, and a comforting cup of tea while we work.

Sessions are offered both online and in-person. Contact me at
